Hi, my name is Matt McPeak and I'm a Web and Graphic Designer based in Hamilton, Ontario.
I’ve been designing for web and print since 2007. I create my designs and layout using mostly Illustrator and Photoshop. I hand-code these designs into XHTML and CSS using Dreamweaver, making sure all the code writing I do is clean and well formed.
I am currently working as a full-time Web Designer at Air Whistle Media. Our focus is on sports and entertainment clients and I have been fortunate enough to work with Russell Peters and the CFLPA.
I co-founded The Right Foot Forward, an organization focused on providing education in developing countries. Currently we're fundraising start-up capital and building relationships with other non-profits.
I’ve worked for more than two years as a Freelance Web Designer for Banko Media, an established media company in Hamilton. They have a great team of Photographers and Graphic Designers working on a wide range of projects - helping local businesses and working with international clients.
The people at GOOD held a contest to gather thoughts on how we would fuel our cars once gasoline is no longer an option.
I entered the contest and submitted a design for a wearable device that would absorb natural energy from your body as well as harness solar energy.
The contest closed March 10 - Winner get $1000 (fingers crossed).
